Beech hedging is one of the most popular hedging choices among customers – due to its versatility, neat growth and suitability for most gardens. Beech is not evergreen but will hold onto the leaves once they turned brown in autumn, providing beautiful colour display, privacy and shelter throughout the winter. Beech is very hardy, tolerates most soil types and is dense growing – it requires trimming only once a year in August (if you haven’t done it in August, you can still prune it the following spring).
